halloween and fun days

 Isaiah is shooting web out of his hands in case you couldn't tell.  ha ha.

 Isaiah has a little bike we keep inside for cold days.  he lets elly ride with him.  it's so cute.

For halloween, Nick went as Clark Kent and i went as Lois Lane.  The kids went as spiderman, and wonderwoman.  we had a a great time at our ward halloween party.

Things we might miss from the summer. 

1. Isaiah will definitely miss the fruit.  Caught him doing this one day.

 

2. My hair.  I chopped 7 inches off.  still pretty dang long though.

  

3. The ugly rocking chair... oh wait. we won't miss that!!!  

We're happy I recovered it and gave it some spunk.

4. And lastly I will miss that my baby isn't a baby anymore.  She turns one is less than a week and has been walking for a couple months now.  It just kinda makes me sad that she's growing up so fast.

Isaiah's Chore Chart

I had this really cute board and I've had it forever but have never used it, Not to its full potential. My friend was making something similar to this the other day and I wasn't able to go the the activity so when i had the time I made my own. Ta da! It's Isaiah's very own chore chart. ha ha.


My niece drew the pics for me and i colored them and put them onto the magnets. I'm so glad to have this. I seriously use it every day with Isaiah. He's great at his chores now. ha ha.

Can you believe how long it's been since i've posted. talk about a bummer. so here's a few thoughts and a few pics.

1. I had a baby! yeah! she's a beautiful baby girl and I just love her.... and so does her brother. He is so happy and proud to be her brother.


2. My brother came home from Iraq! again with the YEAH! it's great to have him home and safe.

3. Since i'm home and kinda stuck here for a bit i've been focusing on some new crafts. and even though it's just a few days past halloween, I'm working on Christmas stockings. ha ha. I'll let you know how they turn out.

My CRAZY yesterday....

The beginning of an entirely new something to blog about.

When i was at the Doctors office yesterday, for something entirely different, I was politely informed that I'm pregnant.

SAY WHAT? Are you kidding me? I told the nurse.


This was entirely unexpected. In case you couldn't tell by my response to the nurse.
I'm ecstatic, and scared, and overjoyed, and everything you could imagine all at once.

My family of 3 is a family of 4

So... wish me luck on my newest and craziest of adventures. Parenthood x2

Having a bad day? how bought a bad week? could it possibly feel like a lifetime since the last time things were okay?...... Well, no worries because i hear ya. I'm been struggling with a lot lately and my sweet oh so wonderful hubby came home two days ago with the best "pick me up" EVER!


May i present THESE!!!!!
I call them my "make everything feel all better" shoes. He said, and i quote,"I know you're really overwhelmed and scared right now and I just wanted you to at least feel like you're pretty, cuz you are."

So if you're having a bad day, go... buy yourself something that makes you feel all better and remember, vanity is only 1 of our many great qualities!

Seriously though, the shoes make me feel better when I see them or wear them. I wonder if they're magically enhanced with something. Just something to think about.

While Nick's Family came to visit we went for a visit to the DINO museum.

It was a lot of fun.

Some of the dino's weren't too happy we were there.

But Nick told them what was up.

And apparently became a dino in the process

My baby's not a baby anymore.....He had a "Mommy's lil Monster" party. My sister made the cake.... so cute.


He loved the cake. He ate it from the inside out. He dug a little tunnel in and just had a blast.
He was very willing to share.

And very excited to get messy.

New BABY in town....

My friend Stephanie just had a bouncing bundle of joy that weighed a whopping 9lbs 4 Ounces.

For our Family Reunion this past weekend we had a wonderful time camping. I just thought I'd share some of the fun with all of you.

I've a confession to make.

I've been busy lately and haven't gotten to this blog because....... I've been making a new blog! It's actually my photography website, per say.

Don't believe in the power of prayer? try again... Last night we played games with Mark and Erin Summerill, after a vicious game of Settlers and a ridiculous game of scrabble (it was only so lame because both Erin and I used all seven letters to make a word, earning ourselves 50 extra points, only to loose) we lost our keys. we spent an hour looking, searching, ripping apart Erin's entire house from her couches to her kids toys when finally i convinced Nick it was time to ask for some help. We said a prayer and not 15 seconds later Mark had the keys in hand. Talk about awesome.

Yeah! Aunt Jaime finally got to meet Isaiah.




We have had a lot of fun. we've gone to see the lights at the zoo




(anyone missing an arabian man? oh, that's mine.)

and we've had a trip to IKEA and tonight we're going to an awesome party for New Years. talk about fun.

Christmas was great! We got some really awesome gifts. Isaiah loved opening the presents. it was so cute to watch him.
My sister made "Christmas Cheer" to give everyone. "...just sprinkle on as necessary" it said.





Nick tried to sprinkle some "cheer" on me the other day as i told him we couldn't afford to get an x-box. i told him it must be broken, cuz we weren't gettin an x-box.






my brother made this for nick. he did the airbrushing and wood burning himself. it's really cool.
